Rule: Lodging = nightly price x nights x rooms, one room or flat per two travellers. Transport per traveller per day = cheaper of four single rides in zone 2 and one Andante 24 pass, plus an airport return and one card. Sights = adult ticket price per person for each sight you tick. Food and drinks are not included.Lodging: Inside Airbnb, Porto city parishes only, snapshot fetched 2026-09-30; these are Airbnb-style listings, not hotel rates. Transport: official Metro do Porto fares and sight ticket prices read on 2026-09-30. Context: restaurants and hotels in Portugal sit at 75.5 on a scale where the EU average is 100 (Spain 83.9), Eurostat 2024. That is a country figure, not a Porto price.

One Andante 24 pass for zone 2 costs €5.35 and one single ride costs €1.40. The pass is cheaper once you ride four times in a day.

Sight tickets

Sight Adult ticket
Palacio da Bolsa, guided visit €14.00
Torre dos Clerigos and Museum €10.00
Livraria Lello, self-guided €15.95

All three together cost €39.95 per adult. The Clerigos student ticket (ages 11 to 18) costs €7.00. The Lello ticket is a voucher: you can use its value to buy a book in the shop.

What two cafés charge

We could not find enough dated menus to give a Porto average. This table shows two places, read from their own published menus.

Lado B Café Casa Guedes (Tradicional)
Espresso €1.30 €1.20
Small draught beer, 20 cl €2.35 €2.20
Glass of house wine €2.95 (15 cl) €3.90 (150 ml)
Francesinha (Porto meat sandwich) €13.75 not on the menu

The Lado B menu is from August 2026. The Casa Guedes menu is from June 2026. A landmark café on Rua de Santa Catarina, Café Majestic, charges €6.00 for a coffee. Its menu is from January 2025. Expect tourist-site prices there.

How we made this page

Every number on this page comes from a dated file. Food and drinks are not sourced well enough for an average, so the calculator leaves them to you. The table below shows what three named places charge, from their own menus.

Research and first drafts are AI-assisted. Every figure comes from open data listed on the page with its source and date, and a person reviews each page before it goes live.
